Always True -- A Giveaway For YOU!

Giveaway now closed. Thanks. :)

The book that is going to be given away (see end of post for details)

No matter what love is like down here on planet Earth,
                       God's eternal love
- God who IS Love -
                                is always true.

The True Blue-est!

And ever and always He is true to His Word.

Always!!! Even when life is hard...

This is what James MacDonald's talks about in his awesome and encouraging, down-to-earth book Always True. (You'll feel like you are having a conversation with an empathetic and encouraging friend; not preachy at all.)

Mr. MacDonald, a pastor in Chicago, had to live by faith in the promises of God, relying solely on God's faithfulness to keep His Word, when the weight of a heavy trial crashed upon him. We've all been there, under a burden so crushing we wonder if it is ever going to be lifted off of us or if we are even going to survive it. That's where he and his wife found themselves...for years. (And you know how hard it is to persevere when it seems that the trial will never, ever end...)

In times like these, God's Word and His faithfulness are all we have and need. James said of that sinking time, "I needed life support. I needed God's promises."

Whether we are in our darkest hour or basking still under the sunshine, this book steers us in the right direction (God's promises), cheers us to believe those promises, trusting the Promise Keeper, and assures us that God hears and is near.

There is hope and help in the promises of God, and James MacDonald knows all about it!  We will, too, after reading his book.

Please remember: God loves YOU. He cares for YOU - no matter what it may feel like!

If you are in need of a B12 shot in your trial, then please let me know in the comment box and I will send this to you (I know how desperate and at our wit's end we can get in certain trials, especially the loooooooong ones). Moody Press, whom I am writing this review for, sent me one extra copy to GIVEAWAY. Is it just for you... or do you have a friend who needs it??? Please leave me a comment and a way to contact you if you are chosen.

YOU ARE LOVED!

(Later...Your comments are so touching and I am praying for everyone commenting and for every friend they are mentioning, as well. I will choose the winner on Friday morning.)  xo

I know of one person in particular right now who is going through some tough times in her life and it seems that every time she turns around the world and such just dumps more and more on her. She fell on the ice, lost her job, is over weight, had a miscarriage, cannot find new work because of being overweight and having to be in the hospital and the fall (making her work history seem disjointed), every time she tried to go see her best friend something happens to stop that from becoming reality. The world is making her feel as if there is not a true God. I hope that she would be able to be blessed by this book. I could easily buy one for her but the problem in that is I lack money. I just wish she would come back to the God that she said she professed a few years ago. Thanks for the chance to change a life. Plus when she is done I know she will pass it along as she has other books I gave her from Harvest Bible Chapel.

I don't know which one of me or my mom would love to have this book. My sister went to be with the Lord 5 yrs ago from cancer. She fought really hard and shared the gospel wherever she was at. This was really hard on my mom and now my dad is about to go on to be with the Lord. His fight is with heart disease and he has been battling it for some time now. I have lost two out of five children and not in the womb. One was 18 months and the other 8yrs old. We both would love a copy of this book and you can reach me at faith_walkingmom@yahoo

What an interesting book. Yes we know in our head that God is the one who directs our path, but sometimes in our heart we get discouraged. Thanks for the giveaway :-)

I hate to post all about my trials right now. But suffice it to say it had been challenging. I am in the middle of your other book right now, "When Life is Hard." It has brought me much encouragement. In the last 8 years my son tried to commit suicide,my husband was in a devastating accident, my husband and I divorced, then remarried, I have had 6 operations in the last 2 years, and now my daughter has left her husband for a man that is my age and did I tell you we are very dedicated Christians. But Iknow there is a purpose for it all and sometimes I just need to be reminded of the promises of God. I have listened to your messages about it on ONEPLACE.COM and they have been extremely beneficial to me, which led me to find your other book. Thanks for your consideration. God Bless

Great review!
I've a friend who is finding things hard at the moment. She gets through one difficulty to find another. She's a single mum who gets very anxious. She likes to say how the number one command in the bible (in terms of frequency) is fear not.
She could definitely do with a B12 boost!

I would love to win your giveaway. Needless to say our family is going through some hard things and while it seems like everything else in life is shifting, God is steadfast.

Thanks for the giveaway.

My daughter-in-law's cousin is in the process of a long hard death right now. Several years ago she lost her baby son. Through it all, she remains devout and upbeat. I am in awe of her. Her name is Connie. I struggle to understand the weight of her troubles. I would love to read this book right now and share it with my dil. Thank you, Mona
